Our school’s founders– Aaron Renert and Dr. Moshe Renert– have been honoured as Arch Award Recipients for Career Achievement from the University of Calgary! This prestigious accolade highlights their exceptional leadership, significant contributions to the community, and innovative curricula that have helped transform education in Calgary. Their commitment to excellence and academic achievement form the core values and mission that Renert School holds dear.
Their journey began with the Renert Tutorials at the University of Calgary in 1990, guiding countless students through high school diploma reviews and university admission test preparation sessions. This path led to the establishment of the Renert Tutoring Centre, the Bright Minds program, and, in 2013, Renert School, a fully accredited K-12 private institution. Renert School applied a unique and innovative educational model emphasizes holistic learning, boundless academic growth, and the discovery of students’ unique passions within a nurturing community. Notably, Renert School has since been recognized as one of Alberta’s leading schools and its top math program.
Aaron and Moshe’s own immigrant experience has fuelled their commitment to education as the ‘great equalizer,’ helping students overcome challenges and flourish. Their passion for academic achievement extends to collaboration with the Werklund School of Education, offering a Master of Education program focused on transformative education, enabling their vision to benefit students and teachers across Canada. Aaron and Moshe Renert have truly paved the way for limitless educational achievement for students in Calgary and beyond.
