Grade 2 students explored the beautiful site of the Leighton Art Centre on a warm sunny day in May. Everyone was entranced by Echo Hill where happy calls bounced back to the excited group. The “antler table” was a hit as were the mysterious and weird creatures in the Aspen Forest. The children made clay owls and brightly coloured portraits, activities described as “fun and creative” by the students. This was a truly memorable day.

The Leighton Art Centre showcases outstanding exhibitions by Alberta artists. The landscape inspires the creation of art, photographs, crafts and outdoor installations.
